Seminar – “Recent Development and Implementation of the Arrangement Concerning Mutual Assistance in Court-ordered Interim Measures in Aid of Arbitral Proceedings by the Courts of the Mainland and of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region” on 14 October 2022

At the hybrid seminar attended by over 1,500 participants, distinguished speakers from the Mainland and Hong Kong shared their insights on the latest development and practice of the Arrangement. The Secretary for Justice, Paul Lam, SC, remarked that the successful implementation of the ground-breaking Arrangement has set a precedent for the two places concerning mutual assistance in arbitration, marking an important milestone in the development of arbitration in Hong Kong. The Arrangement has been widely in use and has truly benefitted arbitration users from the two places.
